Good morning, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa!
Love the thread-gif, Mac!
Zero period final exams are this morning -- everyone else gets another review period. As usual, students think that for some reason, this time, they will perform better than they have all year. Just like in the thread pic, that bubble is about to be burst.
Good Afternoon EveryGerbillyBody from the OMG!-it-may-snow Central SE Texas prairie!
This morning’s hijinx involve the a$$hole neighbor behind us. His fence “fix” was totally inadequate, and his cattle started coming over while I was in Detroit. This morning, I went to let one of the pups out, and had to do a double-take: waitaminnit, that cow’s on *my* lawn!!!!
Mr. X called (and thankfully his wife answered, we don’t want to talk to the SOB), and he’s since retrieved his cow, and moved the rest of the herd to his eastern-most “pasture”. I’m sure his “fix” includes more baling string, as we haven’t heard any noises that indicate t-posts or wire’s been involved (and we shoved the tree that busted the fence in the first place ALL the way back onto his property over the weekend).
::sigh::
We’ll probably have to come up with something. Bleh. We’re really loathe to fix his problems.
At least he didn’t decide (while he was on our property anyway) to come up to the back deck for a chat…so we had that going for us.
OK, so last week I went to Chicago on Tuesday for business. The high was 4°, bad enough. Tomorrow I go back -- a high of 2° with a wind chill of -45°. Guess I better pack a wind breaker.
Monday Gaaaaaaaaah!-reetings from brisk and Happy Larryville, GN!
Other than that, I’ve got zip / zilch / nada / nil / squat.

Criminy. Too bad cows can’t be “attack trained”. 😉

A windbreaker?!?! How about a portable space heater? With electric socks.
Or one of these:
I rather thought that Jerry was the King at breaking wind.
Like a BOSS!!
This ought to do nicely:
Learned a new term over the weekend from son-in-law: walking past others while breaking wind is “crop dusting”.
Have an uneventful journey and successful trip, Jerry!
“crop dusting”.
Foreshadowing Jerry’s presentation tomorrow?
