Jim teh Roofer has a meeting with an HOA Board in the SFV this morning. He’ll be accompanied by a manufacturer’s rep and they’re gonna walk the roof so Jim can explain the differences between our bid and the sole remaining competitor’s. (Which is almost $40K less, ’cause their methodology is seriously half-assed…which is reflected in the respective warranties.)
The HOA already tossed-out the third bid they got, which was about 80% higher than ours; talk about yer chutzpah.
With a bit of good fortune, I’ll be bound for L.A. within the next month.
