As someone with zero interest in golf, I highly approve of Mac’s thread pic. Plus, the scenery is far too nice to use that property as a detention facility for politicians and bureaucrats.
OTOH, with the addition of a couple of large trebuchets, pols and bureaucrats might be useful in an entertaining new form of trap shooting.

I like the idea of a combination of golf and skeet -- when you hit the ball, someone else in your group takes a shot at it. If they hit your ball, you take a penalty stroke and they deduct one from their score. Once you get to the green, you change from shotguns to pistols, just to make it sporting.

Does the golfer also have to play it where it lies?
Can the shooter use a Taurus Judge? (Obviously not in CA.)
