Fatwa Arbuckle: Misanthropologist

TGIF from amazingly overcast (Mac and Harper would rejoice) yet Happy Larryville, GN.

Nice thread GIF, Mac; but yer gonna need a bigger cat door.

Sorry about kilting yesterday’s thread; I denounce myself.

=================

Criminy…the ineptitude of Hillary’s campaign to date is pretty stunning; way to show America what a wonderful CEO you’d be, greedy, corrupt Cankle Lady!

Poor kitty. At least he made it inside. Yesterday, Mrs Sven “accidentally” locked troll cat in a closet as she left for work. He survived tho.

Good morning, Fatwa. I dont think you killed yesterday’s thread: it was the Biden pic.

Hai, Sven!

Biden’s fault, eh? Did he fire a shotgun at it through his front door?

Glad troll cat survived his imprisonment and hope there were no untoward feline “surprises” left in teh closet.

Happy Friday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa and Sven!

Busy morning -- drop off Mrs. Paddy’s car for an oil change, then go to the doctor’s office for a couple of biopsies. After that, it’ll probably be time to pick up the car.

Paddy, I haven’t started my topical chemo yet. The dermatologist wants me to start with my hands and forearms to see if I can tolerate the meds — but she also froze a total of 23 spots on those areas. I read the lit (see below) and since I know that whenever one has a wound the body furiously produces new cells I don’t want to kill those.

CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY: There is evidence that the metabolism of fluorouracil in the anabolic pathway blocks the methylation reaction of deoxyuridylic acid to thymidylic acid. In this manner fluorouracil interferes with the synthesis of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and to a lesser extent inhibits the formation of ribonucleic acid (RNA) Since DNA and RNA are essential for cell division and growth, the effect of fluorouracil may be to create a thymine deficiency which provokes unbalanced growth and death of the cell.

The effects of DNA and RNA deprivation are most marked on those cells which grow more rapidly and take up fluorouracil at a more rapid rate.

The catabolic metabolism of fluorouracil results in degradation products (eg, CO₂, urea, α-fluoro-β-alanine) which are inactive.

I’m waiting for all those spots to heal before using the meds.

Paddy, I’d rather have teh surgery than the biopsies. Skin biopsies leave a nasty scar with no melanin in the surface layers — ripe for additional skin cancers.

Why, oh why, have teh Gerbil Girls forsaken us? What will get them back? Do we need to recruit/groom new Gerbil Girls?

Hey, Jerry! Glad the tourists are finally leaving you alone. It must be quite a burden being on the bus tours of famous people’s homes.

The Nurse Practitioner burned off spots on my face and prescribed the fluorouracil for my arms, so I’m not applying it to open wounds. The first time I had a biopsy, the dermatologist just went ahead and removed the whole thing, rather than just a biopsy.

Afternoon greetin’s all!

BW & I are slowly getting better from the bronchitis/flu/whatever that we have. Still not up to much, but close enough in the tunnel to see the end.
BW has spent the last couple of days on the interwebs looking up old family names, ancestors and connections in Tinytown, Tx. She vaguely remembered a family tale that led to two books. Sure enough, Amazon had them & they are on the way to Teh Rabbit Hutch. Her father came from a town even smaller than Tinytown, about 15 miles away. It only had 20 people left there in the 1950’s. Her parents must have met at the school in Tinytown. Which, by the way still has grades K-12in the same building .Ha!
Gotta hop out

Mebbe there will be a captioning contest made up of Jerrie’s legs? I’ll check back later.

HI y’all!
Sorry I’ve been absent, but it’s that part of the schedule again. We’ve almost made it through production, which is a good thing.

The iPad’s dinging with Severe T-Storm Watch, Warning, Watch cycle started about an hour ago, and looking at the radar, we may *just* get the pups out before it hits.

I’m glad you and BW are on the mend Rabbit.
Jerrie & Paddy heal well from your treatments.

I’m trying to convince my pain doc that no, the spots we missed with the last Botox shots are NOT tolerable for the next two months. If I can’t get anywhere with him, I’ll go to the healthcare co.’s advocate and see if that works. Buh.

But hey, the weekend’s here and I only have a minimal amount of BS on the schedule to deal with (Mr. X is evacuating the joint EARLY tomorrow and leaving it to me ::grumble::).

*ZzzzzzT!*

Fatwa Arbuckle: Misanthropologist

Hai, RabBeet, TeX, Paddy, Jerry and Mac (sorted in order of gender and appearance)!!1!

1) Glad R & BW are feeling better; happy reading!
2) Hope TeX can sort things out with teh pain doc and survive both production as well as KillerSharkRaptorCobraPlatypusStormnado 2015!
3) Healing wishes to Jerry, Paddy, RabBeet, BW…and whoever else what needs ’em.

Fatwa, sorry about your extreme need to kill the threads. Perhaps therapy would help?

Iz posse-bull I haz anger issues.

Here’s a video demonstrating part of the problem with gummint employees.

I saw Trey Gowdy’s portion of that farce yesterday.
One of the said aspects is that the people being questioned didn’t seem to understand how farkin’ ridiculous the whole situation is.
