Early Morning Cat won’t leave me be O grabbin’!

My cat can tell time. Her clock works twice a day. Her clock face says “Feed Me!” Her clock comes with a soundtrack of cries, yowls, pitiful pleadings and begging. The volume increases if no action is immediately taken.
After she has eaten, her clock hits a snooze button and she pretends that she hasn’t been fed. She then tries the “feed me!” bit again, with a little less intensity . This continues until she realizes that it is futile.

G’day, GN!

Hai, cat-pwned RabBeet!

Gotta love how our media is using the Confederate flag as a “shiny” to distract folks from the Clinton Foundation, OPM, Obamatrade, Obamacare and other -- IMHO -- more significant scandals / issues.

Sheesh.

Happy Tuesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, RabBiT and Fatwa!

RabBiT -- our cat does something very similar. He also tries to fool others in the house into thinking he hasn’t been fed.

Fatwa -- if the media continued to focus on the major issues of the day, then you’d expect them to actually do some investigative reporting on the issues. We can’t have that, now can we?

It’s been agreed amongst our political betters and media pundits, that the Confederate flag is an offensive racist symbol potent enough to drive people to murder, and yet they still show it several times an hour on all the news outlets. On the other hand, the winning cartoon from Pam Geller’s Draw Mohammad competition was so offensive that no news outlet showed it.
And the difference is?

Hmmm, let’s see. Which image will cause more people to riot, maim, and/or kill?

In the minds of liberals, apparently both symbols regardless of the actual facts of the matter. However, one is prominently displayed during their reporting and the other isnt.

Personally, if South Carolina decides either legislatively or by voting to remove this flag from its official state/public holdings, that’s their affair. But where does it stop? Will personal displays of any type of Confederate flag soon be legislated as hate speech? Will private, state, and federal monuments dedicated to the southern side of the Civil War now be removed or sanitized so as not to cause offense?

As Fatwa noted, this is the new shiny prompting all types of feel good responses that will have zero effect on the actions of anybody.

Hai, Paddy and Sven!

I dunno, Paddy…seems like kind of a wash these days between those two symbols making folks “stabby” and/or “riot-y”.

Too many of our fellow citizens are need of a serious beeyotch-slapping and intensive remedial civics these days.

It’s time to drive in to downtown LA to meet with my attorneys. The fun never ceases.

See y’all later.

Hope that drive was worthwhile in some manner.

Wow. No Confederate flag for you…

The next sure way to be branded a racist: yelling “free bird” at any concert.

Heidi-hoe, Gerbilino’s!
Yes, Beverly Hills/Century City is just as crowded as you remember, traffic-wise (or more so). Yes, parking is just as ridiculous ($3.75/15 min.) Yes, leaving at 4 pm guarantees I hit all the worst best of the traffic (2.5 hours to get home). I learned that my yoonyun pays for my attorney, but not for his travel expenses, so there’s another $300 out of my pocket for Thursday’s trip to Sacramento. Yes, my attorney did say that it is rare for someone to step up and do the right thing and tell the truth when it comes to colleagues being accused of whatever. Yes, these are the people who are teaching your children.

May God have mercy on our souls.
