Good morning, Paddy -- took a walk around the house. Cleared out some drains and checked the trees -- Holding up OK, but the hillside across the street from us is a little suspect. Some of it has dropped into the roadway. Not much, but some concern. Another half inch in the last hour.
I learned on Facebook that a friend from church passed away on Monday. I have no idea what happened and this is totally unexpected. I last saw her on Christmas morning, when she was playing with our bell choir. This is not a good start to the year.
On the one hand, as long as they keep voting, they can’t do anything else to mess up the country. On the other hand, as long as they keep voting, they can’t do any of the things we elected them to do (assuming the would).
