Our series of storms appears to be nearing an end. Up here, we’ve had close to 14 inches of rain since January 1. That’s a lot for us. No rain forecast for the rest of the month, but temperatures are dropping to freezing. Odd stuff.
Sven -- I’m glad you survived the latest storms with only minimal damage -- and that not really related to the storms.
I made boeuf bourguignonne (yeah, I had to google how to spell it) last night and it turned out incredible! If I had this at a nice restaurant, I would be really pleased. The meat was fall-apart tender. We’re taking some to my MiL, freezing some, and will have some for leftovers. I think we’re going to toss our beef stew recipe and stick with this.
Well… it’s been over a month and still no report on my accident, so I guess the dude I hit is letting it slide. He probably has so many accidents, that his rates would go up even when an accident isn’t his fault. But apart from that theory, I have no idea what’s going on.
I still haven’t done anything about fixing the Kia. I’m sorta leaning toward buying the parts and replacing them and seeing how that goes, but that also seems like a lot of work.
