Happy Easter, Gerbil Nation!
He is risen!
Good morning, Sven!
It’s a beautiful day. We’re going to have a late Easter lunch at my MiL’s. It will be good for Mrs. Paddy to get out of the house. She’s just about ready to transition from a walker to a cane.
Thank you, Paddy. Doing better but my foot is worrisome. It is not getting better and the foot and lower leg seem to be swelling. I will contact my Dr again Monday. Elena is with her family today to observe Easter. I am well supplied with Chicken Express and cut watermelon.
In 2016 it was the Saturday of Easter weekend I had my heart attack. I was wondering yesterday if I was going to honor that tradition, but it seems I will pass on another year.
The swelling is worrisome. Glad you are going to see/call your doctor -- please do.
Last year I had a slight cut on my leg below my knee that wouldn’t heal. I ended up getting two rounds of different antibiotics and it was still slow to heal -- no idea why. Instead of neosporin, my BiL recommended Bacitracin and that seemed to work better.
I have been smearing it heavily with Neosporin ointment, covering it with a gauze pad, and wrapping it well in gauze tape. It has been very painful for some hours until it seemed to settle in. I tried something different this morning, smearing it lightly with Neosporin cream and no pad, just a light wrap of gauze tape. It is much less painful, though I don’t know if that would work when I need shoes.

Good morning and happy Easter, GN!
Cats are not impressed by Easter, they expect nine lives.
Cats, “Hold my beer!”
You know, that’s exactly what they’d say. You are like the Cat Whisperer, Mac.
Maybe more like a burp.

That’s great news for Mrs. Paddy -- good on her!
I agree with Sven, getting off the walker is a good step (so to speak).
Good morning, Mac! I hope you and Elena are doing well.

Thank you. I will try some.
