Goooooood morniiiiiiing from Happy Larryville, GN!
SiL will be coming over this afternoon to install mouldings and rehang doors, which will conclude teh “major construction” phase of the office. Followed by paint touch-up and commencement of teh “major schlepping” phase.
I don’ need no steenking StairMaster or free weights. 😉
Gosh…I hope that Jerry’s okay; he still hasn’t shown-up in Larryville. (And missed a delicious dinner last night; baked bacon-wrapped chicken breasts seasoned with garlic, chili powder and brown sugar. Which sounded a bit weird when GoodWifeK gave me teh recipe but will get made again soon; the pan drippings were teh awesome. Plus…bacon!)
Hey, Jerrie!
I sent you a reply on Friday. The package arrived in Laurel, MD yesterday morning and should get to you by the end of the day tomorrow.
I just sent you the tracking number.
A blessed Sabbath, Gerbil Nation!
Some friends joined Mrs. Paddy and I to watch the final performance of the one act plays at Teh Younger’s school. Last night was their best performance yet -- everyone had a great time.
Teh Younger has made his decision on what college to attend next year. His number one choice was the Coast Guard Academy, but a paperwork SNAFU left him with an incomplete application. He’ll attend his first choice among traditional colleges and re-evaluate his situation next winter. It was a big disappointment to not even be considered, but he has handled it with great maturity and come to a decision that I think will serve him well. I’m very proud of him.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!
Greetings from ????? I’m following Mac’s directions to Happy Larryville. I feel like Moses and the Juice. I’ll be there in 40 years. Don’t wait up.
Paddy has some gmails, I think.

It’s a verifiable fact that Mac knows teh way to Larryville, little mister…
Teh yay and teh yay! (Bummer about the paperwork SNAFU, ‘tho.)
“It’s a verifiable fact that Mac knows teh way to Larryville, little mister…”
Sadly, that is no guarantee I will not get lost.
Just follow the tempting aroma of K8-E’s creampuffs and you’ll be fine, Mac.
The last time I came there for creampuffs I got stiffed.
Come to think of it, that happened to me at that particular Gerbilee as well; it was like a cream puff web of deceit (sans teh cream puff spiders).
Were they hiding?
They might have been out puttin’ on the Ritz.
