Mac and Elena, my heartfelt (see what I did there) prayers for you and Elena. Bad knees are endemic among the Catholic population, or so I hear. Stand up, kneel down, stand up, kneel down -- it just never ends.

Thank you, Paddy. This is rather a shock. I have a lot to adjust to. I have been ignoring the signs for some time.

Reality decided to get my attention.
Unfortunately, it usually takes a 2x4 to the side of the head to get our attention.
You’ll do just fine, as long as you follow the doctor’s orders and pay attention to what your body is telling you.
