We were watching the news this morning about 1:00. At that time, they had video of one suspect stripped naked and hands cuffed behind his back being placed in the back of a police cruiser. This is the suspect that ended up DOA? How? He looked fine when they arrested him.
The Queensryche show last night was excellent. This version of the band has Simon Wright (AC/DC and my favorite Van Nuys band-Rhino Bucket) on drums and Rudy Sarzo on bass. Geoff Tate was in good form and they did MindCrime all the way through. Large enthusiastic crowd. Some very interesting female attire. About a 35-minute encore with material mostly from the album Empire along with Neon Knights from Sabbath/Dio.
Later this month they are hitting several dates in Texas: San Antonio, Austin, Houston, Dallas. If you have a chance, go see them.
He’s played with Ozzy and a lot of other bands: Quiet Riot, Dio, White Snake. The guy has to be pretty old since it seems like he’s been around forever.
It’d be nice if Penn’s career was as dead as Chavez…or Tamerlan Tsarnaev.
I do hope that Dzhokhar remains alive now that they’ve got him down and being examined by a bomb robot. (It’d be nice if the robot’s operator poked his wounds a couple of times; just sayin’.)
Here’s hoping they can keep him alive long enough to wring him dry of any useful info prior to executing him. (I think blowing his legs off would be appropriate…after suturing a rasher of bacon inside his mouth.)
I hope they capture him alive as well as I am curious to hear about the Chechen branch of the Boston Tea Party.
It’s been a rough week for our country, but I can cheer myself up by remembering those famous Biden words: General Motors is alive and Osama bin Laden is dead.
Eating dinner, I just caught some of Obama’s press thing. I can’t get over his demeanor. A few days ago, he was spitting mad over the failure of his gun control legislation. Pissed off at us, his fellow Americans, for opposing him. Tonite, after our country was attacked by Islamonutjobs and the terrorists caught, he’s just cool and calm-no big deal.
TGIF from Happy Larryville, GN!
And continuing Birfday wishes to TeX and Sven!
Happy Friday, Gerbil Nation!
Happy birthdays, Sven, TeX, BME, Sullah, Brenda, usw.
I got you an assault cake!
Glad to read that one of teh Boston bombers is an ex-Chechen (although I wish they’d apprehended him alive).
Saw this and thought of RabBeet:
Good morning and thanks for teh cake and stuff.

It’s a confusing story.
OK, the naked guy turned out not to be one of the suspects and they eventually let him go.
I guess that guy picked the wrong day to quit clothes.
Jerrie? Anyone heard from him?
I thought he usually just went pantsless.
I wonder if I went on Amazon and ordered 6 pressure cookers if that would raise any eyebrows. And maybe some round shot. And some timers.
If you get queried, just tell ’em it’s for that upcoming BBQ you guys are having; I’m sure that’d allay any concerns. 😉
You Jooooos always have great advice!!!!!!!

A little bit from last night’s show:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO TeX from Sean Penn and John Travolta:
Heh.

Since he’s a US citizen, he’ll lawyer up ’cause he’s got rights ya know.
I hope they capture him alive as well as I am curious to hear about the Chechen branch of the Boston Tea Party.

The guy hates us more than he hates terrorists.
