Fatwa Arbuckle: Misanthropologist

Happy Caturday, GN! It’s a drear, drizzly and cold day here in Larryville; glad we don’t have anywhere we have to go.

TeX --

You got two chortles for today’s thread pic; brava! (Olive teh Grumpy Cat meme.)

Off to schlep more stuff upstairs and start arranging another passel of books…BBL.

Good morning

Ugh. The best laid plans and all that. Tree came down on a power line down the street and the whole street is blocked off. Hopefully they can get it back open by noon. Bribes may be in order.

Julius Caesar does not approve!

Fatwa Arbuckle: Misanthropologist

Nor Julius Rosenberg.

And I’ll have a nice Cesar Salad, please. With extra cretins (sic).

Happy Caturday, Gerbil Nation!
Sorry for the solitary comment on the caption thread, but Mrs. Paddy and I went out for the evening.

It’s decidedly cooler today (20° F cooler!) and the humidity is in the 65% range. Tonight the humidity will reach 90% and tomorrow night we might get rain. Quite the change from 96° F and 16% humidity. I hope the winds keep the smoke out of Sven’s valley for his EABBQ today.

BBQ should be smoked, sure — but the guests not so much, I’m thinking.

Is cleaning a house once each season too much? In the absence of Katie, TeXie, Rabbitie or BrendaKie should I do it every-other season?

Well, this is a thing:
http://bigstory.ap.org/article/gerbils-strut-their-stuff-new-england-pageant

And I quote:

“A male gerbil should be a good, strong, hefty-looking gerbil,” said Libby Hanna, president of the American Gerbil Society. “If you are going to think of it in human terms, you might think of a football player — somebody who’s big, thick neck, nice, strong-looking male gerbil.”

An ideal female gerbil will have a more streamlined appearance that even humans covet, she said.

“So she would be strong and athletic-looking — not really scrawny, but slim,” said Hanna, who serves as a judge in the show. “I usually use a figure skater as my mental image or gymnasts — so obviously a gymnast is not necessarily a big, big woman, but she’s gonna be strong, muscular and athletic.”

So, how close a description of you does that make?
